Ipad Air VS Ipad Pro Student Review (iPad Air 4 vs iPad Pro 2021)

This year, Apple released the new iPad Pro equipped with the new M1 chip. It looks awfully similar to the new iPad Air that was also released a few months prior, but underneath there are many differences. As students, we don't have a ton of extra change lying around, so what we spend our money on really matters. Is the new iPad Pro an absolute no-brainer or is the iPad Air still good enough for students? We bought and tested both so that you don't have to.

I think something major being overlooked is the extreme screen real-estate opened up by the 12.9 in iPad Pro. I had an older iPad before I upgraded this year. Looking at the 11in bs the 12.9in at best buy, the 12.9in just made so much more sense. The availability of having more space to fit notes on my PowerPoints, on top of being able to run a second note for any questions I have during lecture has been an absolute game changer for my studying and grades.

This review was great! Totally agreed with your opinion on the "useless" features. I chose the iPad air 256 because I want that extra wiggle room but I want my device to be light weight. I'm going digital for grad school so having an iPad that can store my digital textbooks and notes is perfect.

Just bought the iPad Air 4, 64gb version yesterday and I’m more than satisfied. I use GoodNotes 5 for note taking and I know that the storage on this iPad is more than sufficient for my university work.

I chose the 13 inch pro because of the fact that I needed the Apple Pencil since math notes with a keyboard is basically impossible. And I liked the size resembling a sheet of paper. I’m overall really happy with it and if you really want the size I’d say it’s worth the extra cash
