I had an issue with connecting the Samsung phone to my Windows PC as neither the phone nor the PC saw each other. In my previous experience with an older Samsung phone this was not an issue. Both devices saw each other. I had used the Samsung Smart Switch app to copy the entire contents of my old Samsung to my new Samsung but along with that came 58 GB of photos and videos going back to 2017.
