Blender Secrets - Easy Beveled Models

Показать описание
If you want to make nice beveled corners, for example for furinture models that have lacquered wood as a material, but want to keep the effect non-destructive then the Bevel node is a good choice. It's also more reliable than the Bevel modifier, which is still dependent on the topology of your model.

In architectural visualisation you'll often have to use models from various sources, some of them with very strange topology, coming from CAD for example. In such a case, the Bevel modifier might not always do what you want and instead of wasting precious time retopologizing, it can be smart to use the Bevel node to make it look nice.

What's the difference using bevel node and modifier? In principle, don't they work the same way?

nice
the question is just can I do that as well? Because my computer makes blender hang itself when I use a version more recent than 2.8, everytime when I want to save a rendered image
