I keep saying it correctly to these Americans, but they love to say it with one syllable haha.

I remember my German teacher who I used to TA for. She had to add "Porsche" in their list of words to learn to repeatedly tell the high school students that it is "Por-sheh" not "Porsh" nor "Por-sha" but "Por-sheh"

Hello! Many Germans, especially in the north, say it without the R, but I'm gonna be nitpicky here, although I know the focus is on the two syllables. But it's actually pronounced "PòRshə" (weakened "E" at the end) in correct standard German. The O must be open and short, and after a short vowel within a word (like in "warm" or "Wurzel" for example), the R is heard in German.

I have spent the last 36 years trying to get Americans to pronounce this word correctly to NO AVAIL!! It’s maddening since it’s a proper noun not subject to the whims of local interpretation!
I do so enjoy the disingenuous comments complaining that you’re pronouncing wrong when your pronunciation is on point.
I guess trolls will troll literally ANY TOPIC

Love the stock footage of women sprinkled in with the car, it really adds to the male gaze
