Sam Shamoun/Shamounian explains in depth the question brought up if the catholic church invented islam and muhammad and that if its true that the pope wanted people to submit to rome and in order to do that they hired khadiija muhammads first wife to find a person in arabia in order to have him submit to rome . I am a Catholic but do not agree with whatever the Pope says. Anything said by anyman is something that depends on you to accept or reject . Some may be good, yet others bad, its upto you and me to accept them. my communion is with our Lord Jesus, my saviour, crucified & died for me, thats the most important for me. Catholic or not no1 is gonna take that from me. Basically denominations will not take you to God. I venerate Mother Mary and the Saints, their lives are exemplary to follow, this is secondary for me. And if thats wrong, that is not going to take me to hell. Not accepting Christ as your personal saviour is what gonna take you and me to hell eternity

I wouldn't dismiss it as quickly as he did. The reason you propose may be incorrect, but the story goes that the Pope wanted Jerusalem and its riches. He wanted control but the religion of turn the other cheek, Love thou mother and father, love thou neighbour would not allow it. Therefore, Islam was established to do the job as it is a more violent religion ( call it the military arm of the pope) that would achieve the popes goals. Now Pope Francis is bringing ALL the religions together for the one world religion. This is speculation but plausible for the latter days to bring about the one world religion. 😊this is why i would never ever take so called internet teachers of the bible, as authoritative. once you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, you will substitute that total dependency with teachings and doctrines, history, rituals . What a mess.
