Hello Elizabeth, I haven’t reread all of the six novels yet but you have made a really good argument for pride and prejudice being the best plotted novel. I consider it almost a perfect novel if a novel can be perfect. My next book to read before Jane Austin July is over is Northanger Abbey. I attempted it last year but didn’t finish it. I read the first half but I think I will start from the beginning. I didn’t know it was the debut. Hugs and Aloha

I mentally ranked this one before watching and came to exactly the same order as you. I think this may be a less subjective category.
