"We were like little babies."
"Unborn?"
The comedic timing is genius!

I love how julie is documenting our societial decay so future historians don’t have to be bored.

It's horrifying that pineapple control is so strong in a country that generally told me in school that the best way to avoid pineapples on pizza was to just NOT have pizza at all, instead of giving age-appropriate guidance on how to order pizza in a safe way that lessens the chance of unwanted toppings.

"Queen is dead! Long live the King!"
We need this addressed in part 8

It's a joke in and of itself that this has been going for SEVEN parts. They're like humourous checkpoints in a journey through hell.

1. Hilarious
2. Given that this series is premised on how quickly the world is devolving, I can't really say I look forward to part 8.
3. Despite 2, the videos have helped.
4. I re-watched some of the earlier parts. Completely forgot about murder hornets.
5. Please keep being awesome.

I'm both delighted and disappointed that these are STILL coming out.
Amazing work 💜

I'm slightly concerned that she's going to end up calling back to this episode in a year or so and the 'gas mask' part won't actually be a joke anymore.

Hoping there wont be a part where past Julie asks "how's the pandemic?" and future Julie is like "which one?"

I love how things have gotten so disastrous, by this point, that the mention of potential WWIII is in the first 40 seconds and just casually dropped into the conversation.

At some point I got used to the fast changes in the past two years, but every time I'm watching the new part of her series I suddenly realize how crazy that actually is

You know what's a little sad? Going back and watching these videos and not remembering the context for some of these jokes.

I love how carefully phrased the “people don’t talk about the pandemic as much” positive factoid is.

Although unfortunately, January Julie didn’t quite pick up on the implications.

"Say goodbye to stuffed crust" 😆
Loved this.

Someday, this whole series will be a brilliant adjunct to a history class.

It would be interesting to do something like this set in say... 1930-1950

I only realised rewatching these all back to back, each Julie remained in the same seat with the same clothes. Bravo on the continuity!!

It's like I try to imagine the rehearsals between these two because their timing and chemistry gets even better every time and then I'm like, oh wait... that's right.

I truly hope in 20 years, some creative history teacher will use these videos as an introduction to their lesson on the 2020s.

Julie in 2020: "I'm going to make a silly satire video about a pandemic."
Julie in 2022: "Okay, so the series is now 'documenting the decay of humanity in all regards'... I can roll with that."
Julie in 2024: "Man, I wish I could upload a new video in that series I used to make, but of course the power grid no longer exists and the pockets of internet that are still around are reserved for the cyberattacks in WWIII, so I'll just have to entertain myself with phallic shadow puppets instead. Let's hope the Morality Police don't murder me for that!"

Honestly, it's November and it feels like it's already time for an update.
