As a father of 5, I completely feel your pain... I too have had a hang nail.

I love how committed Julie is to making these videos! The fact she would get pregnant just for this video, so inspiring!

I remember being surprised that turning sideways didn’t make it easier to squeeze through narrow spaces.

It took my wife like 3 months after giving birth to our daughter to go from "this sh*t sucks, never again, everything hurts" to "we need another one, being pregnant is so nice and awesome". Now we have 2.

I think the person after you has a better shot with the blinker complaint. Sincerely, Dad of 3

I remember filing a complaint to the exact same one and ended up pregnant too, it took me half an hour to explain her that I'm a man, the "exit strategy" just isn't going to work until she finally remembered that she just made me fat

OMG, finally! I have been wanting to see someone address this in a comedic way! I'm pregnant with my first child (in my first trimester) and it sucks, I'm nauseous all the time, and tired and constantly have hiccups and heartburn and cramps I feel awful - if there was an entity to take complaints about this I would be right there with you!

I love how well you do both sides. Brilliant!

An "explaining the pandemic to my past self" visit from current Julie to 10-months-ago Julie would be pretty epic right now.

The Valley Girl Receptionist is by far my favorite character you do. Keep up the great work!

This is perfect because it certainly shows how much the universe doesn’t care! You’ve got this Julie!

Way back in the dark ages (College in the 70’s) I had a very good platonic friendship with a coed. While she never discussed it directly it was clear she had an unhappy childhood with the added joy of unpleasant b/f’s. She swore never to get in involved relationship with a guy. Never to live with a guy. Never get married & absolutely never ever get pregnant.
Well she met a guy. I was there when it happened & it was beyond Hollywood cute. I pulled him aside & I told him 1) she & I were only pals 2) that if he was serious I told him how to court her.
The next semester I was helping her move in with him (I gave her a raised eyebrows & she told me to shut up). A couple years later he said that he was willing to relocate to be with her so she could get her dream job but only if this meant a long term commitment. She called me in astonishment that she was engaged. Then she found herself on the wedding planning ride. Then a couple of years later she called me terrified in panic telling me that she was pregnant. She rhetorically asked how all this had happened. I said how there was special thing that Mommy & Daddy did….she told me to shut up.
All during her pregnancy she was so scared of turning into her Mother. Her husband (we had long before become friends) told me that had a tough delivery. That she had collapsed in exhaustion. After she woke up she ask to see the baby. Husband told me that she was so nervous. Then they could hear the pediatric returning with the baby. Husband said she held the baby just staring at him. Finally, she looked up & told her husband with firm determination, “I can do this!”
She did the ‘80’s thing of career & parenthood. Husband was fully involved & they even had a daughter. Every now & again she & I reflect on how life played out. It was good.

How is Mirror Julie handling her pregnancy?
She must have had massive alcohol withdrawal symptoms.

When she said she understood and came back with the hang nail - the timing and delivery really hit me. I got a good belly laugh out of it. 😂

Pre-natal depression is a real thing and almost no one talks about it. Like not only "I'm tired, everything hurts, I can't sleep", but real dark shit like fear, phobias, profound sadness. And things get really bad when all your friends try to belittle your weird (hormonal) fears or tell you how they loooved being pregnant, it was the best time ever.

It's amazing how Julie is able to create believable characters with completely different energy and personality in the same skit.

Bamm! You are cutting to the core, drilling into the foundation of Comedy Doctrine: The absolute hilarity in how randomly and how incompetently the Universe is being managed. -C

I remember seeing your period complaint video and the same day I saw it you posted your pregnancy announcement. I found it hilarious and was hoping you’d make this video next.
