Worse things to do after a workout part 2

1. Rewarding yourself with junk food. The increased hunger after a workout and the addictiveness of junk food can easily cause you to overeat and negate all the calories you just burned. Ideally, you want to plan out your post workout meal.

2. Not drinking enough water. Your body loses a lot of water through sweat, causing muscle cells to shrink. Dehydrated muscle cells are associated with protein breakdown, while hydrated cells are associated with protein synthesis. Therefore, you want to make sure you drink enough water.

Not eating junk food is totally irrelevant for those who don't want to lose or maintain weight or those with insane metabolism that never gain weight or get fat

The amount that I sweat is legendary. Being a mailman made me extremely anal about constantly drinking water through all seasons. My co-workers drink soda instead and don't understand why they have diabetes and feel like shit.

Protein shake with 1 dinner and bam I’m good for the rest of the day.

I only eat once- twice a day because I don’t get hungry like I use to anymore.

I usually drink alot of water through out the day untill i piss water, literally. Once i do i know im hydrated enuff to hit the gym but dont drink any water during the workout. I dont like feeling full during the workout so agter im sone ill drink my protein shake and then drink water after.
