Just love the trumpet. Promote the person who chose it. Wool washing advice just what I was after. Short, simple and precise, and entirely to the point.

Love how the clock animation showed two hours and not 10 mins 😅

Thanks for this video! How do I dry colored garments quickly so as not to leave them lying wet?

If the sweater is very dirty should you leave it in for longer?

The best way to keep your wool sweaters looking good and not pilling or stretching out of shape is to not wash them. Most adults are the people who wear woollen sweaters and most adults are not doing things that cause them to get stain on them. They are worn during the cooler months so body sweat is not a problem. And they have undergarments. So airing them out is all that is needed most of the time. People tend to wash them because they think they have to, but they don't. Don't wash your sweater unless it gets actually dirty and it will last in pretty much brand new condition for years. I did that with my daughters school sweater and after 6 years of winter use sold it second hand as good as new. It didn't stink, it didn't have stains. Don't know if it would have worked with a boy.

My jumper lives alongside a Border Collie and even with Herb Alpert on the trumpet that method might only just remove the outer surface of his hair and maybe some bits of old Jumbone.

I just read, elsewhere, that moving garments from hot to cold water causes the fibres to constrict. Washing water should, therefore, be kept at an even temperature. Which is correct?

How you're supposed to dry the item without leaving it lying wet is not explained.
