Wow a new Cheever collection! I had no idea. I have his giant compilation but I think A Vision of the World would make a great gift. And Eric that new Rooney is precious cargo!! 👀 🌟 I can’t wait to hear what you make of it!

Have just ordered "Adorable" sounds right up my street, plus I enjoyed "The Employees". Thanks for the heads up Eric.

I haven’t read any of those books yet. They all sound very interesting. “The Others” stands out to me the most. I think I’ll pick up a copy. Thanks for recommending. Sorry to hear about your surfing accident. I’ve never surfed before because I’m scared of sharks. I’m trying to get over my fears because I want to try it. I love boogie boarding in shallow water. I’ve been doing that since I was twelve years old. It’s fun.

Just watching your video whilst doing the ironing. I'm in Hong Kong and often go to Diamond Hill to visit Chi Lin Nunnery which is a beautiful place. So definitely I will be buying Kit Fan's Diamond Hill to see what its all about. Love your book videos thanks for all your book info X

I’m so excited for Sally Rooney’s new book! I would suggest waiting to read it until it gets closer to September (although if I had a copy right now I most likely wouldn’t be able to resist).
I’m so happy you shared Absorbed!! I’d love to find other books similar to that one and NP. 🤩

Thank you Eric!!

What Willow Says and the short stories by John Cheever sound really interesting. I always leave your videos with interesting books to read. Thanks! Also, I haven't read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid but I've heard a lot of great things about it, plus it's gonna be turned into a movie. :)

I can't wait to read the Cheever collection as well as Malibu Rising and Last Days In Cleaver Square. I have a couple of exams coming up but will be free to fill my winter break with good reading after that.📚

I’m currently half way through Malibu Rising, and I would definitely recommend it. A couple of years ago I told a friend, whose taste is very similar to yours, that she should read Evelyn Hugo, and she was so sceptical about it that I actually regretted mentioning it 😂 She not only gave it 5 stars, but she read Daisy Jones and gave that 5 stars too! 🌟

arcadia sounds so interesting, im definitely going to check it out! i think you should read the sally rooney whenever you feel like it because there isn’t a ‘right time’ and you do have a copy so it’s best to just enjoy it and try to not overthink it (which i know is easier said than done haha)!

the disassembly of doreen durand based on your description only sounds like that black mirror episode, crocodile from season 3😁

I'm so keen to read Rooney's latest. I've just finished and enjoyed Taylor Jenkin's Read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, so I'm curious to read Malibu Rising as well. Her books are not literary fiction, but are good general fiction.

A new John Cheever compilation. Wow. Last Days in Cleaver Square sounds particularly good. I was skeptical about Taylor Jenkins Reid as well but Daisy Jones and the Six was surprisingly good and Malibu Rising is getting quite a lot of buzz. I personally would not wait on the Sally Rooney, I must say.

I’ve had Diamond Hill on my list for several months now. It sounds really interesting. I’ll probably wait a bit to see some feedback before I buy it. Definitely some interesting books here. Sally Rooney’s not for me, but that synopsis doesn’t sound much different from her previous books. Maybe if she writes about something else in the future I would be persuaded to give her a try.

Oh my gosh. What Artists Wear sounds like a PERFECT nonfiction read. It’s one of those books that immediately go to I NEED THEM status. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
