learning OCR computer science and have a very poor grade after my first mock. our teacher got sick and had to leave, we've been on switching covers non stop who can barely control our class, primarily filled with immature kids who would rather be at home. Finally got a proper teacher who KNOWS how to teach but struggles to keep the class quiet and under control. Its a shame we got her right after the mock but it is what it is.

My teacher left after the first few months of our course, so i only learnt python fundamentals, how to do arithmetic operations and abstraction and deco position. Ever since, I have been lost. Im slowly working to repair my relationship with python, this video is incredibly easy to understand, paced perfectly, not too fast r slow, not complicated at all, down to earth and very engaging! I've been note taking so much!!

You know, out off all other channels, I fully understand and can relate to your videos. I am teaching myself OCR GCSE CS J277 with Python. I had to move from AQA to OCR when I moved school, but the timing made me have to teach myself this GCSE. Flashcards are the best because they are short, snappy and straight to the point. They help to build up your memory better.

I don’t know how many people will find this helpful, but this is what helped me. I had tutoring for Computer Science (my teacher was just useless, couldn’t learn a thing off her) so I received help from a very kind College student (who was doing A-Level Computer Science) and the one thing I learned is that you really have to go through the whole spec starting from scratch and just talking about it with someone (ideally teaching like a friend for example) is really useful. And finding useful ways to remember stuff (like I was explained bandwidth by using smarties going through a tube as an analogy). Again don’t know how useful this is, but it got me a Grade 5. But Computer Science isn’t a last minute revision subject. Don’t treat it as one.

I don't know about you guys, but in my school, we use Craig 'n' Dave. They have a YouTube channel and they're really good and have a ton of videos we use for notes and stuff. They actually work with schools and also have small quizzes you can take to jog your memory. Hope this helped!
