Hi, how would you calculate the overall grade for a course.

E.g in a exam you got 81.5/100 but the exam is worth 70%.

Then in a coursework you got 26/30 which is worth 30%.

How would you work out the final percentage achieved ?

i don’t think i did this right, if i have an 84% now and that grade is 100% of the course and my final is worth 25% and i want to possibly end with a 90%, what do i have to get?

I did the conversion and I need a 100% to get at least a 70??? I hope this isn’t true, for context I have an 81 average for the school year and am aiming for bare minimum 70 (My final is worth 10% of my grade).

To clarify, the 102.5 is a percentage right? Because all the other numbers were dealt in percentages.

Do you have an idea of how many students make a perfect, or near perfect score on an 8th grade BEST test, that determines if have the basic skills to advance to high school?
In Missouri, 1979, 8th grade I made a perfect score. I've wondered if this was rare or not?

I got 50 overall for the final course and I need to write my diploma exam in a week. Admission requires 65% or above. Can you kindly calculate what marks I need to obtain in the diploma exam? I heard if you get a better grade on the diploma exam, that would count for your high school grade. 😢😢 does 30% count if you get a higher grade in a diploma exam?

In South Africa, your final examinations are worth 75% of your grade average... so If you mess that up, you fail
