I'm working on a game called Titanic: Echoes From The Deep which lets you experience the story of Titanic like never before.
I decided to do a animation test of the stern sinking and imploding.

Thank you all so much for the support!
Glad I could trigger your phobias in a well executed manner, hah!

You have perfectly captured the absolutely terrifying image of the Titanic plunging into the eternal darkness like a giant missile. Well done. Combined with the black abyss, this is my kind of nightmare fuel.
Now we need a bow plunge version. Maybe even the moment the ship slammed into the seafloor.

Imagine surviving inside a air pocket within the ship and you hear this outside with the sensation of constant falling.

This is terrifying, I can’t imagine the sounds. This might be one of the best animations I’ve seen good sir.

THIS! Survivors said they heard explosions after the stern disappeared and this video is literally the only one that's covered that. Well done for providing the accuracy that so many others have lacked. Take notes people. This guy this is the guy 👍🏻

To calm any fears about surviving in an air pocket as the ship sank, survivors on the surface reported hearing the stern implode 10-20 seconds after disappearing under the waves. As scary as it is to imagine, this would have been a quick and painless process for any passengers still alive in the ship as it plummeted to the ocean floor.

Imagine being a fish just minding your own business and all of sudden this comes speeding passed you.

That’s terrifying. Seeing it just drop into the water while it’s essentially blowing up and falling to pieces is amazing.

Now that is scary. Watching a ship disappear into the dark abyss

I cant even imagine the utter hell the poor souls who were trapped in air pockets endured when the stern slipped under. It would have been 30 seconds of pure terror in the pitch black until the stern imploded from the pressure.

This is perfect. When I was little I always tried to imagine what it looked like under water. I'm lost for words. (Edit) After rewatching it a few times I suddenly realised, At this point there were still people alive in it. Probably the worst way to go on that fateful night.

This is the stuff about the sinking that I really want to see! We have some great people who have done the animation of the sinking from Honor & Glory, and we have an illustration of the wreck like a day after by Mike Brady of Oceanliner Designs. However, the pure chaos of what was going on inside of the ship when it is rushing down to the seabed as it’s being ripped to pieces from the implosion, it’s just something that I really wish there was more displays. This animation right here has been a Godsend. Thank you so much for all the hard work you’ve done! Edit: changed, sentence structure.

Okay, I don't get easily scared but the thought of such a big thing going down towards the bottom of the ocean then collapsing with a loud noise scares me for some reason. Although I'm sure the Titanic still looked majestic when it hit the bottom.

Rest in peace the people and animals who died trapped inside the Titanic, I hope they didn't suffer! 😔

REALLY cool you can see the lights trying to turn on, and the implosions, and even the funnel hanging on.

This is scary!! I've always imagined how it must've looked under the water and when it must've hit the ocean bed. This is awesome. And the sounds... haunting!!

This visual probably goes perfectly with the sounds some survivors said they could hear of the ship groaning and breaking under the water immediately after it went below the surface

Really well done, looks like it could’ve been a deleted scene in James Cameron’s film. We never really see Titanic’s 2 mile journey to the ocean floor depicted that much in any medium.

This is utterly terrifying. I can only imagine having just survived somehow the ship going then then listening to those sounds as they fade into the darkness under you. The animation is really well done though.

I've never seen it from this perspective before. Very interesting! You see what the water pressure is doing to it and it features the "terrible sounds" of breakup survivors claimed to have heard after she sank
