My man you know you can clip that cable. They come long proposefully. You just need a R45 connector and the correct the wires in the right order.
It will look 100% cleaner without the mess

I hope everything went well when replacing your orange cable. I hope the connectors terminated properly, and that the extra length of the white cable in comparison to the previous orange cable does not affect the connection speeds of the device or devices you plan on using with the newly installed cable.

You should try crimping your own cable, you can get a cable to the exact length you need and they are usually higher quality
