My dog had fanconi syndrome which is a Severe kidney disorder. Every time we took her outside she would dig up dandelion and eat the roots. We didn't fill her up with all of the pills the vets wanted to sell us. She lived 13 years and the vets were completely astounded. She was active and healthy up until the last month of her life.

Awesome and informative video. I live for roasted dandelion root tea.
I remember when I read Psalm 114 and the LORD said that that we were given olive oil to soothe our skin. Everything that we need the LORD has provided. We just have to search, study and grow.

Dandelion has a beneficial effect on the liver. The fresh stems of the flower, five to six pieces, chewed daily bring swift relief in chronic inflammation of the liver (sharp pain felt in the region of the lower corner of the right shoulderblade). As long as the plant is in flower, diabetics should eat up to 10 stems daily. The stems with the flowers are washed and only then is the flowerhead removed and the stems are slowly chewed. They taste somewhat bitter at first, but are crisp and juicy similar to a leaf of endive. Sickly people who feel constantly tired and are without energy should take a 14-day course of treatment with the fresh stems of Dandelion. The effect is surprising.

Praise God for His wonderful herbs and how He made them to work with our bodies! Thank you for this video!

I have most of these and look forward to adding the 3 that I'm lacking. Plantain is my go-to for so much. If you haven't made a salve with it or don't have it with you, just crush a leaf to bring up the juices and rub it on bites and rashes. Kills the itch and inflammation.

Mullein is a weed that grows all over my N. Idaho property. I dry the leaves for a tea that is anti- inflammatory, relaxing, helps with sleep, good for respiratory issues. One goal this year is to add more medicinal plants and make my own herb tea combos. Thanks, great video

Hahaha, I'm missing a few of those in my garden. Now I'll have to watch it again with pencil and paper. Thank you for also including the biblical herbs. New sub. and looking forward to more. Blessings to you from Linda, zone 8a Georgia.

Cayenne is also good at stopping bleeding on a wound. It cauterizes the wound and prevents bacteria in the wound from forming.

Great video, love the content... when you're going through a list, like at 9:50 you should consider popping the list up on the screen as well, thanks!

Hello from Ireland, my Father would snap off the stem of the dandelion and rub the milk on warts, got rid of them within the week.

Great content! We'll start sending your channel to our clients who recently bought land from us near the homesteading areas. This will surely give them motivation to try new activities like planting these kind of medicinal herbs. Thanks for sharing! 😊

Hey man, please do a part two of this video. Very good information in it. I live in Sweden and part of them I already have but didn't know about the medical properties, those I don't have I'll look after right now!
Thanks for sharing this info and God bless you man!

I have dandelion growing everywhere I love the stuff when we need to mow I go out and harvest everything I can above the ground, and I have an Area where I grow them to harvest the root also.
we use it, and my ducks and chickens love it also, I dry it and use it in soups and stews the kids just think it’s parsley 🤫🙂

It’s taking me a minute to get used to the dandelion being so useful.
Thanks you for changing my mind.

I like frying dandelion flowers in a thin tempura batter. Chopped fine and stir fried, the leaves loose their bitterness. There is a great coffee substitute you can buy. Dandee, is a mix of dandelion root and chicory.

Two of my favorites are calendula and hibiscus. The cheerful orange and yellow calendula blossoms bloom in the spring. A poultice of the petals healed a very painful spider bite when everything else failed, including some expensive antibiotics. I also use hibiscus flowers for high blood pressure. A cup of the delicious tea at bedtime will lower my blood pressure, both putting me to sleep and, more importantly, keeping me asleep. Otherwise I wake up at 2am, fresh as a daisy. It’s a popular folk medicine and you can get bags of the dried flowers very cheaply at Mexican markets.
