Vanilla extract and coconut oil, put both in a small bottle and rub it on when your going to be out when the mosquito's are out. We use this when we are out on the river and get no bites at all.

Amazingly, I hav this plant! Bought it six years ago, on the advice of a garden store owner, for an area that got little water and was going to be neglected. Bought three little plants. It grew a little bit each year, didn’t die, stayed green and the deer and rabbits didn’t eat it. Perfection. Eventually dug it up and put it in a different area for the same reasons. The bed it was in was getting crowded, and I needed a ground cover that would be fool proof. Dry, neglected and under a new tree. Dug it up, separated it and put it in. It never wilted, and is looking green and healthy about a month later now. Think I have about 15 plants from those original three. What a work horse, and I had no idea about the medicinal qualities.

Thank you so much! 💜
I lost my 2 jobs in Disability + Mental Health (that I adored!) due to V mandates and the process of growing medicinal herbs has already provided so much healing. Grateful to have found your channel - thank you again 🦋 x

I love Heal All. First discovered years ago at my aunt's property up north. Noticed, identified it, read up on it. I brought some home to try to transplant and it didn't seem to work. However, the following year it was growing in my grass on the opposite side of the property! I was so happy! I had learned it was used during the Civil War to pack wounds.

I’ve discovered a ton in my yard & also in the woods along the forest line near my yard. I adore this herb.

I still have a Tupperware colander that I’ve had since the early ‘70’s! I replaced all my plastic with glass or stainless steel years ago, but I can’t part with my trusty colander.😄

I’ve found that vaping or smoking the flower of this herb feels almost identical to THC, aside from not helping with nausea like THC does. I’d compare the potency of the flowers to some 2-3% THC cannabis. I’ll be trying it mixed with hemp soon, that may be the perfect combo for those who don’t live in a “legalized” state or country.

I LOVE Self-heal! Found it 3 years ago in our yard, and have been using it ever since. I would like to try your recipe! Yes, it creeps along the ground at my house, but if I wait for a time when my husband hasn't had time to mow because of rain, I can usually get enough to use for a batch of something!

Just discovered this amazing weed. Here in northeastern Ohio it's all over the place. I've found two varieties, one grows short with not much stacking of the flowers, while the other is about a foot or more with a lot of stacking of the flowers. I have been harvesting piles of it to freeze in glass jars so I can eat it every day until next summer.

What kind of sunlight does it prefer to grow in direct or can it grow in the shade like purple dead nettle?

I didn't know this is what I had come up profusely in my flower garden. It was pretty and close to the ground, like a green mandala when I discovered it. And then it grew those taller stems and flowers. Husband convinced me to get rid of it - telling me how it was all through our lawn.
Well, now I know what I just discarded...
However, I am hoping I wasn't so thorough while taking it out of the ground. Hopefully there are a lot if roots that will come up again!
I am retiring at the end of September and I intend to delve deeper into herbal remedies and more.
Thank you for this informative video. I will seek out your book too.
Definitely not a coincidence that I found your video to watch - while I was looking up information to know the differences between Queen Anne's Lace and Poison Hemlock.
Thank you again!
