I love to listen to youtube videos to listen and learn. But I was astounded to notice that while I was listening to yours, I found myself nodding and remarking as if we were in a conversation, totally forgetting that is recorded! LOL! You have a wonderful way about you.
Your humor and anecdotes so help retention of the material. Thankyou for sharing your fantastic talent.

Thanks H~G~ Herbalist! I stepped into a soft spot and heard/felt a snap all the way to my ears! Broke the Lateral malleolus and with no way to stop my forward motion I went into a spiral fall twisting the other ankle (possibly a couple ankle breaks) even the metatarsal fractured. I was only 25 feet from the comfrey bed so I limped out there still in the fight/flight mode and gathered an armful of comfrey which I chopped and mashed while waiting for a ride to the ER. I sipped an Arnica water dose or two while chopping! ER - After verifying everything in place ( now in a wheel chair!) I wrapped the ankles with the C-mash for a couple days and was easily walking 3 weeks later! No, the ortho Dr did not want me to tell him how it healed so fast lol

Re:Comfrey, in the (paraphrased) words of Paracelsus "the difference between poison and medicine is dosage".

You are exactly right about plantain. I’m allergic to most all antibiotics so I learned about plantain. I was overweight having problems with pre diabetes and accidentally knocked a 15 lb handmade steel welded sledgehammer with a sharp handle end onto my shin and it took out about 1/4 inch of meat off my leg I put everything on it kept it clean and I had used the plantain salve on small things but it started running red streaks and I filled the hole full of the saleve 3 times a day in 24 hours the streaks went away in 4 days it was healed. I use it for every type of cut sting, bite wasn’t sure about the tincture. I am so happy I found your channel so I can learn even more. I have all kinds of medicinals including a huge ginkgo biloba tree but knowing what to use all of it for makes all the difference. I do have a type of allergy to echinacea. I was also severely allergic to allergy testing so much so they wouldn’t give me the shots. The allergist called it a hypersensitivity type 3 reaction. Thank you so much for valuable information

I am SO happy I took your online class! I am SO happy to know that you are as funny and knowledgeable in real life as in the video! I had the great privileged to meet you personally at the BOM event in Layton earlier this year. Hope you sold your home and found what you were looking for! Hope to talk to you again some day! Thank you for all you do Doc!

My son had a pretty bad pressure wound on his bottom..I tested it with coconut oil and zinc oxide for weeks and it was healing slowly. Then I came across a bottle of calendula oil and remembered what you said about it's effect on skin.... Within 2 weeks his wound is nearly gone. It was miraculous to watch

Thanks for this excellent lesson! For those who would like to sow coneflowers from seed, winter sowing is a great method. There are lots of videos on winter sowing. Basically, sometime in winter, cut left over milk jugs in half, punch a bunch of drainage holes in bottoms and sides, fill with nicely moistened high quality potting soil, sow seeds, and tape the jugs shut. Label them and record what you planted and when. Put them outside where you can keep an eye on them and let them go through the season. You should have beautiful seedlings by early spring. I have had very high germination with this method, and they take off like rockets when put into the ground. This method produces very hardy seedlings who don't mind being transplanted. They are troopers! Fall sowing will work even better, and is probably best for those in arid, high altitude areas. This is a great method for all perennials, biennials that need stratification. Hollyhock done this way will bloom the first year. No lights needed, and watering only in arid areas. They will have enough water from snow and rain in wetter climates. Peeking into the jugs regularly is a great winter sport.

Love it! Thanks Doc! I have a small herbal book that my dad had from his mom and he used to read it often. Really nice! God made everything for us, we just don't have the knowledge. God made the plants for the service of men! Blessings 🤗❤️🤗

Thanks for providing this info. Most doctors know nothing about the use of herbs and would prefer that no one else does either.

I have been learning about herbs for the past 4 years. I’ve learned more from you, by far, than any other resource. (I plan to sign up for your school when I retire next year.) I have 2 questions, if you have the time. First, I was wondering your thoughts on freeze drying the herbs. I recently got a HR and herbs freeze dry beautifully. I was wondering if you thought that damaged the herbs or gave them a longer shelf life. Second, I have a question about poultices. I’ve been wrapping in old cloth before I applied. Is it better to apply directly? If so, how do you get all the herb out of the wound? Thanks again! -Natalie
