My cutting diet: full day of eating (2k cals)

Here's a full day of eating that got me from looking like this to this. For breakfast, I would straight up just microwave some egg whites to get that muscle protein synthesis started. I microwaved the eggs as it was easy and so I could limit my fat intake as I didn't use any oil. Lunch I made a simple tomato egg stir fry dish. This was my biggest meal so I could get through the day and my workout feeling satisified. For my post workout meal, I made another asian stir-fry with some bokchoy, chicken thigh, and rice. At the end of the day I always liked to eat something small and packed with protein so I would avoid going to bed hungry. So i typically would have a high fiber protein bar like this peanut butter chocolate one about an hour before bed.

How many months did it take you? I thought before that u need to cut down 20to30% calories from maintenance so it's 1500 to 1600 for most people, but upon searching it seems that heavily muscled people still eat more than 2000 calories, is it because to the fact that you have lots of muscles that u need to eat more to retain muscle while losing fat weight?

To anyone else going to do a cut this low: lower carbs a bit and only eat them around your workout and up your fat intake and protein. Ofc it's gonna be not perfect some days but try to have at least 75% of your days like that! That way is a lot healthier and more sustainable.
