In today's video I'm going to show you how to INSTANTLY Activate STRATAGEMS With the press of a button in Helldivers 2. This method uses a macro that has the keystrokes of a stratagem that is required to activate in-game. With the press of a button, you will be able to call it in.

in Steam, if you launch a game in Big Picture mode, you can make any controller a steam input. so any button can be mapped to anything you want. that includes macros. and any controller with a touchpad (sc, ds4, ds) can have an infinitely programmable radial menu. with whatever macros.

update actually looking at it, you can do it with any controller. with action sets. you can make L1 a modifier, and while holding it (which you already do for stratagems) each D-pad button can temporarily do a macro.

Macro's and stuff like AHK are not allowed to be used in game

You can make it even faster if changer your stratagem button to "tap" and add in at the start of the macro sequence! Boom!

Tried out macros to see if I could get it to work but it makes the game less immersive. When making the macro and recording your key stroke you need to include Ctrl key press down but delete ctrl key press up otherwise you need to press two keys first Stratagems and then the macro button.
