I’ve found doing the veggies trick and then triple pumping wheat for a season to get a healthy stock of bread before doing any crop rotation is a solid way to keep your food at around a 6mo supply

I dont do wheat with fields i only produce beer with my farm. You can get 1k+ food easy without wheat.
