I've beaten this game 5 times and once one the second hardest difficulty and while I was aware of all of this information I'm so freaking glad someone who had the ability to post a video like this actually did because it took A LOT of trial and error for me and lots of learning experiences.

If you're focused on Signs, get Rage management and Attack is the best defense. RM lets you take adrenaline points and cast signs with them. AITBD makes it so that defensive actions give you adrenaline points. Dodging primarily gives you a 3rd of a point.

Use both alongside Griffin school techniques to massively boost your sign up time.

Then get your alchemy to the fourth row so you can take the alchemy perk that boosts your mutagen buffs so that you can slot greater blue mutagens into your perk slots and boost their effects.

Then build your signs up. Tip, go hunt places of power. You can have 50 perk points before you're even level fucking 20.

Another two things for newer players that helped me a TON:

for way more inventory space early on, get the free dlc nilfguardian horse gear (mainly the saddlebags for the inventory space increase) as soon as humanly possible. At crows perch. 😊 it’s at the guy across from the dwarve and blonde skellige woman armorers. It takes your inventory from like 30 to 130 or something like that. And it’s not even that expensive. You can def afford it by level five or earlier. I always do that then I never have to worry about inventory space the whole playthrough. That guy also has a very nice Nilfguardian armor you can wear once you hit level ten.

And since nice looking armors are rare very early on, at level five make sure you go back to white orchard to the merchant you save in the beginning and get the free dlc armor he has. It’s called the Tanerian armor I think. It’s very nice looking with great stats. Gotta save up for it tho! That with the nilfguardian horse gear and you’re set early on. Make sure to download those free DLCs tho! Happy witchering!

Gourmet was nerfed. Now food regenerates 10-15 health points for 60 seconds instead of 50-80 for 10 seconds, so gourmet only regenerates 10-15 health points for 20 minutes

Euphoria is still pretty strong even after the nerf. You can use like 3 decoctions and 3-4 potions.

Metamorphosis is also really good but to make it consistent you have to drop a lot of decoctions until you only have around 5 of the ones you want (you have to craft them again if you want to get them back). But you can have all 5 every potion active with no downsides. Should definitely get the Bottomless Carafe from Heart of Stone to replenish potions n stuff between battles, though (quick menu then x or whtv meditates without having to go into the menu).

For the swords and armor, to get the most coin possible and such, go to novigrad and then skellige. Once you fast travel a little to different islands, villages, go back to novigrad and sell to hattori. Repeat the process to maximize profit.
