This was the first video I watched 2 months ago when my ear was red and swollen.. I went to the ER 3 times and told them it was probably an allergic reaction to something (I have lots of allergies but they never affected my ears), but NOPE.. they kept prescribing antibiotics and said it was either erysipelas or cellulitis and that steroids would make it worse.. weeks of suffering with antibiotics doing absolutely nothing, I went to another doctor and he put me on Prednisone.. cleared it right up within days 😏 you're a good doctor to show such concern and care and to actually listen to your patients❤️

I thought you would look for the puncture point from a sting. I don't believe he would have swollen up that bad with just a mosquito bite. I'd say the boys either stepped on a yellow jacket entrance hole on the ground or were messing with a hornets nest. I know this is some years later but I like watching your videos no matter when. You Paul are a credit to your profession. My hat is off to you. Did I mention that my grand father was also Paul Thomas as was one his sons.

I LOVED Prednisone when I got a case of idiopathic poison ivy. Life was back to normal so fast after about a week of horror

By the way in Germany it can also be from a tick bite, causing borreliose
