Those were pictures of dust mites, not bed bugs. However, there are dust mites on beds.

We had almost 2 yeas ago. They bite me badly I didn't know what it was. I checked everywhere plus it was hard to know it was bed bugs because they were not biting my husband. Long story short we found them on my bed uplhostered head rest and in another matteess in our house. It was crazy I hope no one goes through that. We had to call an expert and He made us take everything to the laundry but clothes in bags and take them put of the house. It was a nightmare. Now I just keep checking every now and then. I work cleaning houses. So my house is pretty clean. I change my bedsheets and do my laundry every week or sometimes twice per week (laundry) so but you can always bring them to your house if you went to a hotel or even if you have guests over who have bed bugs at their homes they can bring them to your house. Is just crazy. A lot of our clothes, shoes, my purses, and thing ended up on the trash as well as my mattress, Plus we had to remove the carpet in our bedroom. Just to be on the safe side since we found some there too. Had to let that out of my chest! Sorry 😂
Good luck everyone!
Props to the doctors🎉

Prevention/Rid solution:

1. ASAP jump into action, even if you think it is another bug. DO NOT DELAY ATTACK
2. Weapons:
steamer 175 degree and higher
Rubbing Alcohol 90% and higher
Food grade Diatomaceous earth (please wear mask, DE duster optional)
Blood orange essential oil
Misting spray bottle
Diffuser
3. Steps:
a. Wash bedding/clothes in HOT water or steam wash setting. Dry in high heat
b. Steam every nook and cranny of mattress and bed frame, furniture etc
c. Spray with 90% rubbing alcohol
d. Mist spray with blood orange essential oil
e. Run diffuser with blood orange essential oil
f. Vacumm
g. Spread a dust of Diatomaceous earth around the legs of the bed and floor. The bed or frame should not touch the wall or other furniture. Bedding should not touch the floor
4. This procedure should be done daily to all areas of the house if you have a bug problem.
Any item that cannot be treated with heat, can be place in the freezer for 3 days.
This procedure is organic,
effective, low cost and easier than most.

I was given a bag of clothes from a friend, didn't mess with it for weeks, just a small bag in the corner, I'll get to it when i have a minute....one morning woke up to find bites on me.
Never had BBugs but they were different bites, i scratched one and every bite went off like lightning i was itching everywhere.
I only 8 bites, but it took me 1 day to rip my room apart, wash everything and when i emptied that small bag of clothes in the washer...I SAW THEM!
HOT, HOT, HOT WATER, 3 WASHES AND EXTRA DRY.
I bombed and sprayed my room, dusted every crack and crevice with ant/roach dust, I only ever found 1 after the treatment dead on my bed belly up, no problems since.
The amount of cleaning was insane

Also, beware when buying old books. They can crawl inside the books. I also heard someone in London state they are so bad that you can easily get them on the trains.

if you go thrifting, throw everything either straight into the washer or into the tub to quarantine!
I'm lucky I live alone so I starved them out by sleeping in a bag I made out of a sheet and a tight mesh panel.

I got them and knew because I studied bugs in college so knew where to look. Bam-there they were asleep, so squished them all in their sleep. Then I turned my place upside down inspecting all places they hide and found nothing-all isolated to trypical mattress seam favorite. Put down DE and used hair dryer all over. Licked 'em, so thanks teach! 😂

Encountered bed bugs in London once. A very clean hotel it was too. At first I thought the red bumps were caused by moskitos but no it was bed bugs. I was done 💀💀💀

Heat, dry heat will get rid of them. We had them threw out furniture, used every spray, but what worked was a co. That heated up our house and they were gone.

My friend, who is disabled, and had an immaculate, beautiful home had someone that travels frequently visit. He brought them in his luggage, we think. Her heatlh care home helper refused to come to the home anymore. They spread to every room even though she hired a large, well known pest control company. She bought new mattresses. The company saw the bed bugs and refused to take the old mattress. It's a nightmare.

The crazy thing about bed bugs is that they are 300 million years old.
