Sproul often goes on long doctrinal narratives without quoting scripture or referencing where one can find what he's talking about. It's as if he's telling the listener, "Trust me. I've studied scripture so you don't have to."

Man was created in the image of God and we have the knowledge of both good and evil just because we do evil that doesn't automatically mean with we are completely evil and totally depraved especially being that we are created in his image!. The Bible teaches us we must choose him, and we will live. Throughout the entire Bible it's showing a choice and God telling us to take action I different ways. Repent, believe. If we were automatically set to do this or not we wouldn't need to be told to do it over and over in the bible and even told the consequences if we don't.
