Every time I hear the notion that people have no free will, I think about the day that argument turns into "and therefore I have no personal accountability for any decision I make"

You neglected to mention that in the first experiment you cited, that they were only able to predict what button people would choose 60% of the time. That’s slightly better than chance.

"you brain makes the choice for you" thats not a compelling argument that there is no free will when you remember the fact that we literally are our brains. We are not the hands that push the button, we are the brain piloting the flesh mech that hits the button
