In this video, we will discuss the pathology of gastropathy and acute gastritis.

The key difference between gastropathy and acute gastritis is that in gastropathy, the inflammation is minimal or absent while in gastritis there is active inflammation of neutrophils.

Gastropathy and Gastritis are visible on endoscope as swollen and congested mucosa, and this may be complicated by development of hemorrhages or erosions.

Lastly other than gastropathy and Gastritis, we will also discuss the pathology of stress related mucosal disease of stomach.
