I was diagnosed with H.Pylori 12 months ago and it played havoc with my mental health, I started suffering with severe, crippling anxiety and panic attacks, for treatment I was put on a course of two antibiotics and an acid inhibitor (Omoprazol) for a week, plus an anti-anxiety drug Sertraline, my stomach cleared after a fortnight and I felt great.

Unfortunately 12 months later I think I’ve been reinfected and it has returned as I’ve started suffering Pylori symptoms and anxiety again which is slightly controlled due to me still being on Sertraline but the uncomfortableness in my gut is still there, waiting to go back to docs for retesting…

For who are diagnosed H.pylori you need to take antibiotics that your GP prescribed for you then take mastic gum, turmeric, liquorice, broccoli sprouts, olive oil, coconut oil, cabbage. Avoid dairy food, meat and chicken till your H.pylori disappear.

not sure if you’ll read this but I’ll take my chances Hi Doc, I’m 17 years old and very concerned about my dad and his condition. I’ve been watching your videos to understand why my father’s stomach is bloated. It also feels quite hard. He weighs normally for a 5’8ft 58 year old man. I understand that some of the food he eats and the carbonated drinks contribute to his bloating. He doesn’t drink alcohol often either. It doesn’t cause him pain except for obviously feeling full/bloated. He said it started during the early months of pandemic. Its really hard to convince him to go to a doctor so hopefully I can get some tips for treatment from you other than being more active and cutting back on foods that could further trigger bloating :(
