Just having mine repaired by Canon - Accident damage, not fault - which was extremely good value as I can’t find a better camera for quality and compact size. Love it!

Always fancied one of these but they are holding their value pretty well in the UK. I was just clearing out the office last month and came across my old G16 which had been in a box for years. Charged the batteries and got straight out with it.., . still a lovely little camera and truly pocket-sized. Keep up the great work :)

Great video and love the pics! I keep almost buying this camera and then wondering if I can find something with better specs/more modern for a similar price. I'm trying to get back into photography and being able to have a camera in my pocket at all times will really help with that. I'm not really bothered about video but I guess it would be nice to have the option to film at least 1080p if needed. Are there are any less hyped/more modern compact cameras or should I just take the plunge and buy one of these?

I love my g7xmii, and with adding custom User presets (namely Thomas Franssons Filmic base) I get great pictures straight out of camera and I usually only need cropping.

Thank you for your review. How did you like the auto focus? One video said it was great and another said it "sucked", what is your opinion. I'm thinking of buying this camera for the size, we're going on a Mediterranean cruise and there will be several ports to visit carrying my Nikon dslr would take more space and it could be stolen a lot easier.
