I believe mereuem and gon is the truest testament of how great of a storyteller togashi is. the main antagonist and protagonist of the story never met but the story started and ended with both characters development achieved

If he naturally grows up, he will have that much aura and some more experience, like knowing how to use all of the rock paper scissor forms, much better enhancement capabilities, and he would have confronted more villains, making him a better thinker so to defeat them.
Also, his clothes would be much more comfortable.

I too believe adult gon wasn't the possible max power that gon could have attained. It's the most he could trade for what he had at the time. Glad to see someone actually thinking like this.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but Gon let Pitou cut his arm off so he could be like Kite. Then he impaled Pitou with it. So if anything, that makes that form even more badass.

If i remember correctly, adult gon actually let pitou cut off his arm. He was aware of it, but he let it happen becuase he wanted to be like kite.

Think about it, Niferpitou could see Neteros hands when he was doing the 100-type guanyin bodhisattva, but when she was fighting Gon she didn't even see him move, also Mereum admitted that Netero was faster, so in conclusion Gon is fast as f*ck bois

I believe it would be closer than it may seem. While Meruem clearly does have the edge in terms of IQ, I think Netero's words to Meruem at the end, show that the mindset Gon was in while dealing with Pitou would mean a lot in a battle. "You know nothing of the bottomless malice within the human heart". Gon is essentially the perfect example of that. If Gon were to bring that mentality of I don't care what needs to happen, you are going to die, to a fight with Meruem, I just couldn't put it past Gon to come out on top.

People are talking about Meruems age but that's unimportant information. He's a chimera ant, they're born at their physical prime and the only capability for growth they have is learning nen and worldly novelties. People less than 6 months old aren't born buff and large with the ability to speak like meruem. Age is not a factor at all. The queen took her time with him and he ripped out if there when he felt he was ready. We saw kite born prematurely as foetus and she grew extremely quickly, chimera ants aren't people like us.
