Gon aged himself to an age so that he could beat pitou, if he was fighting the king, he would’ve aged himself to a point to where he could match him.

Adult Gon is actually faster than both pitou and Meruem because when netero launched his attack at pitou, even though she couldn’t react to it she saw it coming. When gon went outside to fight pitou she didn’t even see him move. And netero is faster than meruem so Gon is faster than meruem.

There’s a few things to consider: that’s 12-year old Gon’s mind with adult Gon’s power, even still he managed to obliterate Pitou (let’s be honest, it wasn’t a fight, Gon massacred Pitou, he lost his arm because he let them take it). His contract was sort of “give me all the power I could have in the future” without the actual experience he would’ve gained, had he reached that state through time, so it’s definitely a lesser version of what an actual adult Gon would’ve been.
Also yeah, Meruem was also alive for like a month, but you also have to consider their life spans, it’s probably a lot shorter than a human so it’d be like when you say a 10 year old dog is old, while a 10 year old human is a kid still, it’s probably even more shorter with Chimera Ants.

Now, I still think that Meruem could’ve defeated this contract-bound Gon, since it basically took the strongest Hunter to kill him, but, if we consider adult Gon as “he developed his skills and grew like a normal pro hunter”, now THAT would be interesting.

I think Gon had the potential to become one of the strongest hunters ever, but who knows, maybe one day he will re-learn Nen (since it’s still a possibility for him) and train with Ging this time.

You see my problem with this is that everyone says it would run out I think that’s false because gon’s specific contract I think would’ve only ended when he felt his revenge was taken and his rage was gone so I think the form wouldn’t end until that happens which would be a long time
