The Beiguan Seventh-day Adventist Church in Shenyang, China is the largest Adventist Church in the world. It started as a small group of 10 people in a living room in 1985. Now it has a membership of more than 7,000.
Pastor Mark Finley tells how amazed he and his wife were a few years ago when they attended the Shenyang Church in China. This church is one of the largest Seventh-day Adventist churches in the world today. The church started with only nine members and now has spawned over three hundred church plants, with as many as fifty to several hundred in each plant and 7000 members.
When Pastor Mark Finley asked the pastor what the secret was to their amazing growth, he was told it was prayer! “We meet each morning from 4:30 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. to pray and 150 or so of our people come every day. These seasons of prayer unleash God’s power for growth and revival.
“Then Mark asked why at 4:30—so early! The pastor said it was because the people are busy professionals who need to go to work, mothers with children to take care of, and also busy students who must go to school.” So they came to pray before they started the responsibilities of the day!

I've been there, the church is so filled with the Holy Spirit that I was weeping the whole time and amazed over the organization and the holiness and primitive godliness. Praise GOD for our faithful brothers and sisters in China.

That is real Holy Ghost power working in each member as they sacrifice their time and devotion to God and not self that's why you're seeing this mighty force of God impacting the church on a high level, we the members around the world need to pick up the torch and stand firm with conviction celebrating the living Word of God and the three angels message, we need to stop going to church and filling up the benches and consecrate our lives, santify our selves, build up our faith with confidence in Christ an we'll be a shining force within our communities, God is asking us His people to stand up, to declare we're His sheep and once we give all of our best then He will light the torch ablaze with interceeding victory, O hallelujah to our God who is more than able to give us that power of prayer and staying power to stand still and behold the glory of God., like those members they give if themselves unselfishly thats why their church is a lighthouse upon a hill. I watched the clip a second time to see whether my initial impression was correct. I did see a few men in the congregation but there seem to be a supermajority of women. Can someone tell is what the ratio is and whether someone has an explanation for that - especially if the ratio is more than 2 to 1?

By the way your church place a lot of attention on the Sabbath, dietary laws etc. Are Chistians living under the Law of Moses? Thank you.

First of all, Adventist are not listening to what God told the church members through the Prophetess Ellen White and that is NOT TO HAVE THESE LARGE BUILDING AND LARGE MEMBERSHIP IN ONE PLACE. Also WOMEN ARE NOT TO BE ORDAINED AS PASTORS. Remember, just like the days of old during the time of the Hebrews, most of them were not saved, but were lost, so it will be with the Adventists because they do not follow God's Law and Testimony.

The senior pastor is a woman?! What does the Bible say about women being pastors? 1 Tim 2:12, 1 Tim 3:1-13, 1 cor 14:34-35.

How can Adventists condone this?
