Yet another ATX gaming Mainboard, that didnt boot up! This time a little bit easier fix. But this can be applied to a lot of broken boards!

If you have any questions hit me up in the comments!

My Tools:

Hot Air: Some Quick 861DW counterfeit

The Flux i use sucks, so dont buy it lol

The Copper wire i use is 0.1mm Enameld wire, link is dead, but the wire wasnt great anyways

Multimeter (cheap one for beginners, that i still use): UEZNIRN IEC61010-1 multimeter

Links marked with * are affiliated links and i get a small comission from them without you paying extra. (The * is not part of the link)

WAIT, you did all that before RESETTING THE BIOS! Thats #1 STEP in any board repair. I Guess the customer may have misdirected you with problems description. Glad you got it going. Great video for newbies!

Nice videos. Really enjoy people sharing their knowledge. I myself trying to learn electronics repair. The thing I would recommend is having the mic louder. I can see you are not a native english speaker and sounds like the mic is muffled. Keep up the good work.

it should be required that all motherboards include a speaker or debug led

Hey, very good video. I have one question though. Can you do a video on your connection for the mainboard via your Bench PSU. Wouldn't mind a great explanation of how it was built and how many amps I should set my Bench PSU to.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

I have a brand new old-stock gigabyte z170x board that tries to post with 4 long beeps when no RAM installed. With RAM installed I get no beeps and it turns off after 30 seconds then tries to boot again, in a loop. I tried clearing CMOS and forcing it to backup BIOS. No luck. Any suggestions about what to do or check would be appreciated…thanks!

15 mins to reset a bios... I do like your test rig though could you explain it? What is the device you've got plugged into the motherboard header?

How about a bios update to the latest version? I have a Asus Strix X370-F Gaming with the Dram LED on. I have tried different slots and different ram with no change. No video and no post or change in diagnostic LED sequence. Just solid lit Dram LED. Have you experienced this before?

Hello there. I have a problem with my motherboard (i think so).
After reinstalling Windows, everything works, including the Internet and the hard drive via a sata cable. Then I turn off the PC, turn off the power. I wait for half an hour - I turn it on and everything works. I repeat, leave the PC completely without voltage for 2 hours, turn it on - everything works. I repeat once more, now I leave it for the whole night, turn it on. And here the problems begin. It doesn't see the SATA hard drive at all + the network card falls off because it doesn't see Wi-Fi or cable Internet either. What could it be?

My specs: MB - msi b650-p pro wifi (bios ver. 7D78v1C) Cpu - ryzen 7500f Psu - 650 seasonic Dram - kingbank ddr5 Video - 2070super
