I can't "Follow the Science" anymore. I can't trust Doctors anymore. I am left with doing the research myself and following professionals like yourself Dr Berry. Thank you so much!
I wish there was someone like you in north Alabama...

Thank you, doctor. I've told people to stop using iodised table salt when they said they had a reaction from it (told them to switch to Himalayan sea salt, for example). My medical education included the idea that seafood allergies were caused by iodine. I'm retired now, but I appreciate the reprimand (being called a stupid liar) and will never make the same mistake again!

I used to weigh 354 pounds and after watching Dr. Berry's videos, I started eating carnivore and I lost down to 238 pounds in approximately 8 months. I stayed around 238 pounds for about 6-8 months and then, all of a sudden, I started gaining weight back and my weight shot back up to around 275-280, regardless of how much or how little I ate while still eating carnivore. So I thought I might have an iodine deficiency because of the way I've been eating. I started taking Lugol's iodine, hoping it would help with weight loss. It didn't, but it makes me sleep so much better. I used to be a light sleeper, but since I started taking Lugol's iodine, I sleep very soundly until it's time to wake up and I feel so much better than I did.

Great video! I started iodine on yours & Neisha’s recommendations. Was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was on Levothyroxine. Now I just take iodine and feel so much better: even better than when I was on the prescription. Thank you Dr B and Neisha for all you do!

I was told that I have an iodine allergy after I had a flushing reaction to contrast dye after my last MRI. I figured that’s just what the radiologist call it but when they are at a major research hospital it makes you wonder what else is being mislabeled! Thanks for the good work Dr Berry!

That's really interesting . Having worked in Radiology departments for over 40 years I can tell you that the ' iodine allergy ' myth is still pretty entrenched . We even used to send out ' iodine allergy skin tests ' prior to examinations using contrast media . Mercifully since the introduction of non ionic contrast media reactions are very rare but they still contain iodine so one might conclude it is the chemistry that transports the iodine that is the problem for some patients . Once you start a myth it is hard to stop it . The R.I.C.E procedure for non catastrophic limb injuries is ubiquitous in Emergency Departments despite its inventor Dr Gabe Mirkin, amongst other researchers, refuting it based on the evidence that it actually slows recovery !

Eat wild caught, canned fish like sardines & kipper snacks. Goes great with mustard or red hots.

Thank you so much for keeping us well informed. Our health care industry will surely kill us with their look lack of knowledge and lies!

As a teenager, we got great color while suntanning when we mixed iodine in baby oil and smoothed it over every inch of our skin. Loved it. Then along came other fancy sun enhancers. Then came “sunscreens” that started to damage our bodies. We all need to go back in time and read grandmas’ remedies! Thanks so much for this video.

My mother was told her whole life she was allergic to iodine. We had an allergist as a personal friend who said the same thing. It was listed in her medical records. They couldn't even use dye in her for contrast tests. No anesthesiologists would do it. She went into shock just from cooking fish one time at the church and had to be rushed to the ER. She almost died. So this wasn't what she thought but what she was told by licensed physicians. They told her it was a seafood allergy and it that was caused by her iodine allergy. So even the medical profession believed it.
My point being that she didn't just "think" she had an iodine allergy. She was diagnosed with one. The doctors got it wrong not her. I'm sure many people were in the same boat.

I love you Dr. Berry. I mean that in the most sincere (and platonic) way. You just say it as it is and don’t mince words. I like that. Keep doing it, you’re changing lives.❤

I am allergic to seafood and IVP dyes and was told for years that I was allergic to iodine. Since listening to you, I have been using Lugol's iodine without a problem. I still have very bad reactions to seafood and IVP dyes but now know that it isn't the iodine that I am allergic to.

Ok, I’ll buy that I react to Povidone and contrast dye, but not iodine. I drink a diluted iodine solution daily because I don’t eat salt enriched with iodine. Thanks for making that clear.
