The scruff has made owning a doberman puppy so amazing! All the perks with none of the usual puppy issues!

We started training Day 1 using your system and owning Omega has been so rewarding!

Popping the grape sounds like it's going to land me in prison

I’ve never heard of these methods other than the leash pop and scruffing. Could you possibly make a video going more in-depth on each one?

I need an in depth video on these techniques. It at the very least a short that simply shows the method. PLEASE! You're the best!

I’m happy there’s a couple dog trainers you being one of them that actually know what they are talking about and point people that are running in circles in the right direction

had a lot of success personally with helping my dogs *understand* that what they're doing is hurting me. pulling my hand back, yelling or whimpering, and then withdrawing for a minute or two. i think they don't inherently understand why it would hurt us since their skin is much thicker and tougher than ours, but once they understand they don't want to be hurting you

I trained my heeler not to bite by yelping like it really hurt anytime her teeth touched. Worked great, she doesn’t nip at anything except the occasional frisbee if she’s riled up. And that’s game over…
Along with the toy redirect to prevent chewing on things she wasn’t allowed that aren’t human.

I made high pitched sounds like a hurt littermate would during puppy play. Now when my 70lb dog and I play and I gasp or make a hurt sound he immediately stops to assess. Worked for my kitten too!

I yelp in pain when they bite me too hard. I don't know if it's the right play but so far it's gotten them to understand the level of strength they need for play biting and not actually tearing my arm off.

a high-pitched jelp helps a lot, thats how litter-mates signal that the bite did hurt, after the jelp offer the bitetoy, no force needet

I always grabbed their lower jaw and jist held it for a few seconds. It freaks them out and they stopped biting pretty quick

I almost gave up on my puppy when he was 2 months old, he wouldn’t stop biting I sat down one day and started crying out of frustration. Till I met a dog trainer that did a very aggressive (in my view ) maneuver and that was it. He stopped now he is a 3yrs old giant but I still have my arms and legs marked cause I’m a diabetic

I know one thing that has worked wonders on my dog when she was a puppy was putting butter in our hands so she licked instead of but. She has turned into the nicest dog now, and even when playing she will NEVER bite, only lick, even when you can tell she wants to bite. Amazingly, she has taught herself now to grab a toy whenever someone comes to the door because she “knows” she will get excited and holding a toy in her mouth keeps her from playfully biting. Would 100% recommend!!

Pop the grape? That sounds like a crime

Another thing to realize is that puppies bite A LOT. And they can’t help it. It’s a natural process of losing their baby teeth and growing new teeth called teething. During this process, they chew and bite whatever they can to relieve pain and reduce discomfort. Human babies go through the same process when their first set of teeth are coming in when they are born, which is part of the reason we made pacifiers for them. Once a dog grows out of its infancy years, it’s less likely to bite you. However, it is still good to teach them at early ages what is and isn’t okay to bite.

When Ive trained puppys and if they bite me if only a bit I let out a yelp as they hate that sound and get confused. Seems to work for my method. If they stop and look at me I tell them theyre a good puppy

I used two fingers to tap the top of his head and repeated no bite, or would stop playing. He bit me one time hard enough to injure me but it was an accident he he missed the toy and got my forearm. It was a clean cut, it was deep but I cleaned it out and bandaged it up tight and now I don't even have a scar. Maybe a line, but no scar.

I don't know if this advisable to tru on puppies. But with kitten bitting, what I was taught when they'd bite on your fingers is to jam your finger slightly into the kittens mouth til they gag. It stops the biting and do it enough times they get that biting fingers is unpleasant.
