My black cat's a bit more skittish though, so if she locks her eyes on my hand when I move it, I know she'll run if I try to pet her at that moment

Once, I had a stray with whom I built immense trust. She used to scan everyone who passed in front of her . As soon as I came across, she used to jump and just lay on her back .
She then got pregnant and came rarely, eventually stopped coming.
I miss her 😢❤

I used to greet them after work with "Brrou Brrou je suis là". I'm French speaking. My last kitty came from an English cat & dog beauty salon which fosters rescued till they found homes. Her name was Panda and she never let me change it. I tried different names without success. Her meows were so high pitch and raspy when I visited the salon I had trouble to stand it. I felt so sorry for her because I though nobody would bear such a hyper high pitch and rusty. Therefore, I ended up adopting her! 😂
