My cat be like: “I’ve acknowledge your existence”

My cat has learned basic English words, or at least what the sounds of certain words mean. If you say “outside” she will run over to the back door and prepare to run out of it as soon as you open it, for example. She only communicates via meows and cat noises obviously but she does have distinct meows and behaviours based off what she’s trying to say, if she needs her litter tray emptied she will walk between you and the tray ans meow in a specific way while circling it and you.

And when a cat blinks slowly at you that means they trust you and feel comfortable around you 😌 i love cats

I'm currently owned by seven and have been cat staff for 30+ years. Absolutely true in my experience.

(I actually had to pause this video because one meowed me over to start up her battery powered laser mouse toy.)

My cat i had for 15 years had special meows for "water" and "food". He also had a special meow just for me, that he never did for anyone else.

So, yes. I do know what my cat named me.

If your cat closes their eyes slowly but not that slow its a sign to show that they love you
