If you're feeling behind in life, stuck in life, or things just aren't where you thought they'd be at this point, I promise you, you're not alone. The last couple weeks has been super hard and I've been nonstop grinding. Maybe I'm overreacting a little but my last year of grad school is NOT easy. Even outside of grad school, I've always felt like a late bloomer and have felt that people around me have experienced things WAY before I have. Honestly I feel like I've been left behind in my 20s and I should have accomplished a lot more...

You're doing just fine! Plus as they say, social media is full of lies & people exaggerating about how perfect their lives are.

I needed this as a non-traditional college student. Since I didn't start college until 24 and won't get my bachelor's until I'm 29 I have always feel behind in life. I did get my associates at 27 and feel a lot better having a college degree while working toward my next one

I can totally relate, I still live with my parents and I feel this IMMESNSE pressure to move out even though living with them is personally a better choice for me to save money. Thanks for being vulnerable babe! 💗💗

"You are not a late-bloomer, you are just blooming at your own time." I love that, and that is so true! This is something that I can really relate to, I often find myself comparing my journey to others. But I just remind myself that my journey is unique, and everything that I am doing now will lead me to where I am supposed to be. We are doing, amazing! <3

We all got our own timelines, we’re nvr too early, or too late for our own timeline. We’re just on time—-that’s what I say to myself whenever I felt the same way you’re feeling right now. Love all your tips, too, Sam. Reminding yourself those things indeed is a great help ♥️

Don't worry about that. I promise you it will come for you, don't base your life on theirs... I'm 53 and I was in the same situation, trust me, , all will be ok.. Remember, it's your life, and you live your life. Also, sometimes it may seem they have it together and they really don't. At times they may want you think they have it together. I promise you all will come together for you..

dude I'm right there with you. I definitely look at my friends with full time jobs and apartments and roommates sometimes and I'm like, when is it my turn? but then I remind myself that I made the choice to forego a real job so I can have more time to build my youtube channel. everything you prioritize takes sacrifice. and I'm choosing creativity and entrepreneurship for short term financial stability.

you hit the nail on the head... i think its important to realize that everyone is on their own timeline. i know its easier said than done when you are in the moment and you see everyone else accomplishing other things and you feel like you are so far behind everyone. but you have so much to be proud of, you are getting your PhD at Cornell, make relatable youtube videos that your audience loves, and have a supportive group of friends (tesla guy hahaha).

I think this can happen even in your early 30’s, especially as you grow in your career there’s other expectations that come - buying a home, marriage, kids, it all kicks up a level once you hit 30.

ALL THE TIME!! for me its just like not being able to keep up with freaking time its on supersonic speed. You can't compare yourself with others and yes focus on the good and never rush things time flies by like really its going so fast you will be there before you know it..and you have focus getting your phd...so enjoy where you are at..and yes feel gratitude. enjoy your journey..its normal to have these feelings but shut it down and enjoy your journey hon...but you are aware of it so thats half the battle.

I feel this 100%. When I was in school I was stress about finding a job. When I got my dream job I started stressing about going back to school so I wouldn’t “fall behind”. Not to mention seeing people get engaged, buy homes, etc all over social media. My mantra is “the grass is greener on the other side when you stop watering your own.” Focusing on myself, limiting social media and surrounding myself with supportive/encouraging people has done wonders for feeling confident in where I am in life. Sending you love ❤️

I think this video caters for all ages..

After raising 5 kids and fighting my way to be here I still feel I’m swimming against the current most days. And wonder if my turn will ever come..

Find your turn make your turn happen because it won’t come otherwise…
