Thanks Sir Jason for this! I was just thinking about this when I watched your previous video. Tama kayo, aside from my pre-existing condition (hypertension and high cholesterol), I'm still exposed to other uncertainties such as accidents, getting sick (viral, bacterial, airborne) and even be diagnosed with other dreaded or non-dreaded conditions. Dagdag pa yung highly contagious COVID-19 which I'm glad to know are being covered by HMO and Medical Insurance companies. Thanks again!

Na confine yung Asawa ko for 5days, dalawa diagnosis, UTI and Hydronephrosis, hindi na cover ng insurance dahil pre existing condition "daw" ang diagnosis, Eh kaka diagnose nga lang, that time lang Namin nalaman! As in Wala silbi mga health insurance sa pinas!

Kagaya po sa sitwasyon na to. ang isang tao ay na confine 8 month ago sa diagnosis na mild pneumonia. then sa ngayon eh mag aavail ng prepaid health card na hinde covered ang "pre existing condition".

I have bad experience dyan sa health insurance, totoong waste of money sya..kasi meron ako health insurance payabel in 10 years, then nagkasakit ako on the 9th year ko..hndi ako binayaran ng insurance, kasi daw pre existing daw yung sakit ko, dahil may diabetes daw ako...naging diabetic lang ako on the 8th year... sayang yung pera ko na binayad..sana nilagay ko la ang sa ibang investment.

Kapag meron thyroid nodule pero benign 9 yrs ago until today benign pa din tapos kumuha ng insurance. Tapos after 5 yrs naging cancerous yung nodule, pre-existing condition pa din ba yun since hindi pa nmn sya critical illness nung nag apply sya ng insurance dahil benign yung nodule?

So kung di cover nila ang viral deasses sayang lang binayad mo, kaya nga bago ka kumuha ng HMO o kung may inaalok man ang company mo tignan mo nalng muna kung anu ba coverage nito kasi you are paying for this HMO tapos pag nagkasakit ka malalaman mo nalang sa huli di nila cover yung sakit mo.

Benign breast mass considered ba na pre-existing condition? Na-pre-approved ako when I applied for Sunlife health insurance. Di na nila covered lahat ng illness related to breast.
