Hello,
At 14 🧒, I founded my first business and sold thousands of comics. Ran it for 3 years.

2004, I felt proud of getting a gold medal for my B.Tech from NIT Jaipur in Metallurgy. 💪

I got hired by a steel company. 11 months into it, I couldn’t stand the heat, dust, and noise. 😔

The gold medal I achieved didn’t help me. 4 years of my engineering felt wasted. 😢

I quit. 🤞

2005, I got into a tier 3 MBA school BIMM Pune. Got hired by Mindtree as a Business Analyst. 😊

2010 changed my life and I came to London and became a proud Londoner since then. 😊

Over 14 years, I grew into an IT leader and currently spend my 9-6 as an IT delivery Manager 👨💻

I can only be found on Tennis courts on Thursday evenings, strong at forehand and weak at backhand. 🎾

Every Sunday I teach 👨🏫 moral and Jain values to the kids 🚸 of age group 4-8.

Book a FREE call with Ditto. LIMITED SLOTS

Hi All - I made a calculation mistake so if I correct that the total settled bill be 272, 000 instead of 2 Lacs. My apologies for a mistake. But the point and the intent of the video remains same that we need to check these points before getting very less claimed amount. Hope the intent of video is clear.

These health policies should be strictly monitored. Insurance companies make these policies so lengthy and complicated that no normal person can understand fully. Policies across insurance companies should be mandatorily standardized to simple teams and all capping/limitations should be listed on a single page with amount/percentage.

Feel so lucky i got to see this video only late though.brilliant video.
i have two points to raise
1.Am a senior citizen in my seventies with a medical insurance policy. How can someone already on a policy rebiew the terms and rectify the points you have pointed out.Can i switch the provider?
2.cant the health insurance holders form a lobby and seek a legal remedy for all health insurance providers to adhere to standard terms that are fair to the insured while recognising the business sense from the providers point of view.

The biggest scam in Midical Insurance is not claim getting rejected, it's claim getting reduced. The Insurer won't reject your claim, because it will affect their claim settlement ratio. The only way we can avoid is know your terms and conditions of your health insurance.

Government, General Insurance, private insurance companies racket is going on with each other palm greasing ( corruption) ….. poor public is exploited by Insurance Agents … they are getting 17-20% commissions for befooling innocent public .

I have insurance policy with Manipal Cigna for my parents.
My mother who is 69 who suddenly her walking & overall physical moments affected. And wheelchair bond. After medication & with MRI scan she was diagnosed with severe compression in her C4 C5. Surgery was needed in urgency otherwise permanent paralysis was possible head down. After the operation when wanted to reimburse they said waiting time is 2 yrs. whereas our insurance policy had completed 18 months. If we had to wait for 2 years my mother would have been paralysed for life. You are right insurance companies exploit.

Thank you so much for this video. In India, people do not want to talk about illness. It is considered to be "ASHUBH". That's what these companies are taking advantage of. They know that people won't go in that much details 1. because they can't foresee so many situations 2. they don't want to imagine such grieved situations.

I think this shall be a part of our education system. Thank you once again for this.

Shame on our regulators IRDA for allowing such practices on their citizens. Reminds me of movie #Jawan and it's significance on our society

I am practicing advocate in bengaluru and my suggestion is why don’t you file PIL in Supreme Court or high court regarding these frauds and scam by imposing unacceptable conditions & if you desire I can help you.

Excellent video. Before taking any medical insurance, plz ensure that you take high room rent, or NO rent limit option.
Insurance companies are scamming Indians for many years now.

If it’s a cover of 15lacs, the room rent limit will usually be atleast 15k. The issue usually arises with lower covers. Then there can be issue if the sub limit for a specific treatment is not sufficient.

I loved this video, liked and subbed, people dont read fine print i love it, its the fine print and its legal interpretation that saves you when you need your insurance company to hold their end of the deal. If you are well informed you cam drag them to the court and het your money with damages, insurance industry hate a informed customer.

I liked the way you have pointed out the various clauses used by insurers to shortchange the insured.

However, by following all your suggestions we may only end up paying a huge premium.

We need inputs from experts like you on how to optimise the premium paid.

Secondly, there are many like me who were covered by our organisation during our work life. Fortunately, we never had an occasion to avail any claim. Now, post retirement, if we try to start a new policy privately, we are charged a huge premium irrespective of the quality of our health. Please suggest a way out for senior citizens.

Thanks
