Speaking for myself,
My inability to stay consistent was me not adapting to the life I want to live with trading. Biggest thing I did was cut out smoking daily, and taking most weekends to study and back test apposed to hanging with the bois and getting messed up. It's cutting out all YouTube and toxic media so that the only thing your consuming will have a direct translation to your attitude towards the charts.

If you wanna see change get the cheapest apartment you can afford, only buy the bear essentials for survival and simply trade, meditate and sleep. I'm talking blow up mattress, a pot and pan for cooking, really simple no processed food, and computer to get your things done, because once you truly have no distractions that's when it will start clicking. The problem is the charts aren't providing you with dopamine right now and how could they if your not winning, you need to get the point that the charts are the only dopamine you want. Once you start thinking about the charts instead of thinking about some chick you wont ever get with or something that's gonna provide a temporary high that's when it clicks.

This is all dramatized in the example but remember: You become what you think about.

So glad I came across this. I'm 6 months In and tens of thousands in the hole. Losing is painful. Failure hurts. Mentally emotionally financially even physically bc of the stress can wear you down. I've cried, I've been angry. I wonder every single day why I do this. I even wonder if im insane or lost in lala land like a fool.
