You can def use this technique but they usually just want any type of attention. I say when he reaches out don’t even respond and keep moving on with your life! He will be madly obsessed even more cause now his ego is even more bruised! If u reply acting like anything didn’t happen he still get some type of attention and will most likely up the antics. I haven't went through with this advice because it's hard to ignore him when I know he's still ignoring me, too and will start ignoring me again at the moment he gets attention again. Idk if this works to keep a relationship long term as well.
