Jerry West Highlights - The Logo, Mr Clutch, and Mr. Outside. Tribute to the Wolf that ate Dogs.

RIP to the legend. I don't always have time to do tribute videos but this time I do and these are a few of the best highlights I've got of his so here's my respects to this NBA legend. My deepest condolences to the West family.

Jerry West, not only one of my top 5 favorite players of all time but one of my favorite persons. He knew how good he was but his humility was sincere. Take your rest Mr. West

There wasn't a player then who could guard him and none today either. A pure shooter, especially in the clutch and if not the Russell Celtics - who beat the Lakers six straight times - he would have won more titles. He's on my All-Plumbers team with Russell/Wilt at center, West and Oscar Robertson at the guards and Elgin Baylor and Bob Pettit at the forwards. With Wilt at center it averages 138 points a game. With Russell, it's a defensive force. Go ahead, beat them

Jerry West would crush it in today's game, you want 35-40 points you got it, no need to ask him to defend he always played defense and of course has to be on the Mount Rushmore of guards in NBA history 6'4.5" with speed, big hops killer shooter, rebounder and defender, and a absolutely unmatched desire to win....

I learned that jumper from him. That’s the ultimate weapon. He says it right from the beginning of this video. Only the offensive player knows when he’s going to shoot…so you always have the advantage. The hard last dribble is key. You’re already going up in the air on the stop and the ball isn’t so much picked up as going up with you in that split second. The lead plant foot stops you on the dime going in either direction. You’re up in the air before the defensive player has time to react. There’s no need to clown someone because you’ve already beat them. The emphasis on clowning people these days off the dribble is a complete waste of energy and time 90% of the time. KISS…keep it simple stupid. It’s about putting the ball in the hole. Period. That’s what he did. RIP JERRY WEST…you deserve it…you EARNED IT!❤❤❤❤❤💯
