This is amazing - from the sound of the crowd, the crispness of the video - theres so much life in this clip - really allows you to see and appreciate the game and skill (btw west did have a bit of a left it seemed)

It's obvious these guys are not plumbers, and they are not devoted to exerting much energy on defense. NBA historians will know this was during a period where offense was king. Getting up and down the floor and launching as many shots as possible was the primary focus of the league. League average was 115.3 ppg (no threes!) and shooting 44.1%. The worst shooting team? The Celtics at 42.7%. The best rebounding and assists average per game? The Celtics at 72.7 and 24.5. 73 rebounds per game?! That's 73 missed shots and teams are still averaging 115 ppg. I started watching the NBA in 1964 and had no idea how different the league would become over my lifetime. This video is a great means for showing how the game is both different and the same over time.

In the original book or Wilt.... Wilt stated as the coach was calling yelling out plays over and over...., Jerry West went up to the coach dribbling the ball crossing half court and Jerry said would you just shut tha f×#^ up! Then Jerry continued West

Unbelievable footage! The Logo was way ahead of his time. Crazy handles, unguardable jump shots and strong defence. Also LaRusso would be a solid stretch-4 today.

All this teams were losing against the Celtics, it was not that Wilt was a loser, but this Celtics team, were unbeatable. Jerry West first Championship when Wilt was MVP of the Finals.

talent is timeless, it's all about the rules, good players in 1960 will also be good in 2000 ', it's just a matter of adaptation
