Hello, Natasha! I have been listening to your podcast for several weeks, and I think you’re so awesome for doing what you do. My son has terrible school anxiety, and won’t talk to me, or listen to me if I’m trying to say anything related to anxiety/school. Have you done a podcast or video on how to get past that immediate avoidance and refusal to interact around that? I would love to know if you have so I can listen to it.

I searched up this video after buying a wooden bicycle fender in which the handmade design wasn’t symmetrical (it’s an item that is very special to me), I felt the need to sand it down or change it in some way. I knew that if I did that than I’d ruin it, and I’d never forgive myself. It’s like an itch that can’t be scratched and it’s driving me ludicrous. It keeps me up at night and I ponder about it throughout the day. What do I do? I need some help.

Is there any kind of ocd meds I can stop taking completely cold turkey?

Addictive is the wrong term but many people get nasty withdrawal symptoms when going off paroxetine, for example, too quickly.

Does ocd medicine get rid of intrusive thoughts or just help with the anxiety with ocd?

Hi I just watch your video about symptoms of OCD, you posted 3 years ago, just wanted to ask because I have a feeling that some of the symptoms is showing at me, like....checking and re checking if the stove are off and also on the switch turning on and off for a long times, touching some things repeatedly and so many more. Then and having negative thoughts that if I don't do it something bad will happen to me.... or my in my life. Is that sounds normal? Hope you could reply thank you🥺🥺

Hey Natasha, so I just found your videos and was wondering if you’ve seen people take medication whose OCD is largely on control? I did a few months of CBT/ERP last year which was phenomenal and really changed my thinking/life, but some days are still bad, though nowhere near what it used to be. I’m wondering if you’ve heard of people in my level of OCD recovery taking low doses of the medicines to get the monkey off their backs a bit more? I’m managing fine, though if my quality of life could be improved, I’m all for that. Thank you for what you do.

Why do people always compare OCD with diabetes? My gosh. Agree with neuroplasticity though.
