I actually quite liked a lot of the 'bad' photos you showed at the end 😅 also thanks for getting me into macro photography, I'm really enjoying it! 😁

Birch catkin bugs... Also build up around Holly buds. But one of the easiest insects to photograph which always, always looks dramatic at 1:1 is the Golden Bloomed Grey Longhorn Beetle, it sits lazily at the base of hogweed for the 2 hottest weeks of the year. Another for me is Robber Flies at sunset... They sleep with their prey squirming in their Jaws!

i usually try to use different spots - different insects in different spots. In the garden near my country house i had shooting bees, butterflies and jumping spiders. In the meadow near river are living argiopas, diving spiders and dragonflyes. In the pine forest some different insects/

Your flash solution looks interesting. I‘ll go looking if you already talked about it earlier but in case not could you please tell us what you are using here. Thanks in advance :)
Ha, you mention it at the end of the video. I was just a bit too impatient...

Cool the diffuser on the Godox.
Please, where did you get it?

Love it, great photos! I use the MK-320 and sent back the TT685S because I noticed the exact same issues you mentioned, a few videos ago, where the flash would not always fire (it happened quite often); I'm not sure if it was just bad settings but it was strange. However, the MK-320 works great, although it is seemingly a little weaker and requires setting the flash another stop or two higher. Is there any reason, in particular, you switched back, and do you still have the same issues with the TT685S? Cheers!

Hi Micael, I have a question.
I'm thinking about getting the laowa 65mm.
I allways hear people saying it's capable of 2 times magnification, but is that by default?
Do you have to activate the 2x magnification by pressing a button or something?
Thank you for your answer!
Great video's

Thanks for the tips. This morning I have been taking macrophotography in the uncomfortable ground, so I have shoelaces 😁😁. I just go in YouTube and suddenly appear your video, so have you been watching me? 😂😂😂 (Sorry for my English)

Not easy holding camera steady and focusing at the same time.

All my life I've wanted an expert to tell me to be lazy. Now when the few hairs I have left are grey and I no longer need the excuse, it happens. :-)

I tried taking macrophotos on ants a couple of days ago. Really hard, especially without a flash...
