They forgot the most important use! It cures an infected tooth! takes the pain away because it kills the infection. One part HP to 3 parts water. I do 1 tablespoon HP with 3 tablespoons water. Swish around in the mouth as long as you can, twice. Do this once a day to kill the infection until it's gone. This gave me more time to get to a dentist. It also whitens teeth, and helps your gums.

When I was in college an elderly dentist who told me to buy a water pick and rinse with peroxide once a week … 50 years later, great advice

I use it as an inexpensive mouthwash, diluted with water. It costs pennies compared to $7.00 for a bottle of name brand mouth wash. It's also great for cleaning many things as described in this video.

The nerve in my gums was infected and my dentist was getting ready to send me to surgery but said to try this first...Mix 50/50 water and peroxide...I still use this to brush and gargle about twice a week...Sure worked for me and it keeps my teeth looking great!

Best carpet cleaner you can find. Mix equal parts water and peroxide for your Bissel. Even the whitest carpets come clean, spots disappear for good and it won't hurt colors. This is a professional carpet cleaner's best-kept secret.

Others have mentioned it works well for removing blood stains but it also gets out poop and any other protein based stains. My favorite homemade stain remover is one part blue Dawn to two parts peroxide in a spray bottle. Gets out the protein stains AND the grease. Much cheaper than commercial stain removers and doesn’t smell so strong. Many are sensitive to fragrances.

I sprayed my tomato plants with half HP & half water as a much older neighbor suggested and my tomato plants grew over 6 feet tall. The tomatoes it produced that year was so huge and flavorful! I had so many tomatoes i couldn't can them fast enough!

I use 50-50 peroxide and water as 'pedicure' to soak my feet. I use a Swedish Clover Foot file to remove dead skin and it actually dissolves cuticles. Been doing this for years.

I've always used it for mosquito bites. I soak a cotton ball with it, and apply it to any mosquito bites, or other bug bites. Takes the itch away immediately.

I have used it to clean small injuries on my dog. The vet liked this choice. I have also used it mixed with baking soda to brush and whiten my teeth.

Works on cold sores too. I’ve had cold sores since I was a child and have used many different doctor prescribed cremes and pills with limited success. I tried hydrogen peroxide at the first onset and it stopped the cold sore very effectively.

Be careful when gargling/ swishing, brushing your teeth or using on peroxide on your body. I would gargle/swish a couple times a week to keep my teeth whiter and breath fresher. Well, after several months of this I started getting a rash on my hands and arms just like psoriasis. It was awful, I tried everything to rid this rash from my body. This rash lasted for months and I did not correlating the peroxide with my rash. People kept telling me your getting older your body is changing and I refused to accept that mindset. It just did not sound right to me I knew it had to be something I was eating or soap or laundry detergent, it just had to be something I contact with. What I did was I went back one year and listed everything I had changed in my life, that I had been in contact with or ingesting. I finally figured it must be the peroxide. I discontinued use and in 6 weeks most of my rash was gone. In 8 weeks weeks my rash was non-existent. I wanted to make sure that it was in fact the peroxide that was giving me the rash. I started back to my regiment of swishing with peroxide and within 7 days my rash was back and I immediately discontinued use and my rash took a bout a week and it was gone. It has been several years now and I have no rash, no reoccurrence at all and the only thing I did was stop using peroxide. I do not use peroxide at all and Im rash free. Your skin is an organ and your skin lets you know that your kidneys and liver are being over powered by a particular chemical that it cant handle. Listen to what your body tells you. Im not saying peroxide is bad, it has good uses but for me and Im sure for others we just can not tolerate that chemical in or around our bodies. I hope this information can help someone.

I had excessive ear wax build up. Going to the ENT doctor was a pain. I was buying the expensive ear drops. $7.50 for like half an ounce. One day, years ago, I read the ingredients. I read that Hydrogen Peroxide was the main ingredient. I mix 25 percent olive oil and 75 percent Hydrogen Peroxide. Been using that mixture for years, no more excessive ear wax build up, no more trips to the ENT doctor.

Use with caution when cleaning the toilet. Many people use Clorox tablets (or other brand) in the toilet tank to keep the water clean. Some tablets contain bleach as an active ingredient. Adding hydrogen peroxide to the bowl, may produce dangerous fumes. Check labels on any tank tablets for ingredients.

This is a good informative video. I would like to add that you should let viewers know that H2O2 even at 3% should never be used full strength on any skin surface especially sensitive tissue areas like the mouth, and ears. It can burn tissue if not diluted by at least 50%. As a nurse, I learned this from some plastic surgeons I worked with. I have also helped people heal non-healing wounds just by cleaning a wound twice a day with 50% H2O2 and water when their MD's kept telling them to use goopy, bacteria growing creams, and ointments that block oxygen from getting to the wound and impedes the healing process. Fallacy, antibiotic ointments are only good for about 15minutes then the antibacterial properties dissipate and the ointment becomes a medium for bacterial growth and they are petroleum-based which is unhealthy.
