Yes, hydrogen peroxide is antimicrobial and can do a good job at preventing infection but if you use it on a wound, you are damaging the skin further. For the trolls on social media who say I only care about skin and not infections, this makes zero sense. I care about both and they go hand in hand. If your wound does not heal, you’re putting yourself at a daily risk of getting an infection! ⁣

I have seen people enlarge ulcers to the point where it took months to heal. I typically say regular 🧼 soap and water 💦 to clean a small cut is preferable. Hypochlorous acid is antimicrobial and does not damage skin and thus another worthy option for those worried about an infection. If the wound is large or infected, definitely see your doc. ⁣

I use hydrogen peroxide (3% solutions) to spot treat pimples. For me, it helps dries out pimples and decrease inflammation.

peroxide is the only thing that stops my pimples from getting infected after i pick at them (which is constantly). i dip a q tip in and rub it on the spot until it turns white and it’ll scab over next day with no more pus!

Doctors always want you to stop doing NATURAL shit that helps you heal. Don't use HP on your wounds just schedule a doctor's visit and get some expensive cream

H202= water and oxygen. Oxygen is the best bacteria killer. IF u over do it however it can eat up normal tissue so just don't soak ur wounds in it for excessive amounts of time. Just long enough to get the bad bacteria portion under control.

The whole point of it bubbling is because the catalase inside the bacteria bubble up and kill the bacteria
