Are you looking for a way to clean your house without harsh chemicals?
Look no further than hydrogen peroxide!
This video will show you ways to use hydrogen peroxide around your home.
From cleaning your countertops to whitening your laundry, hydrogen peroxide is a versatile cleaning tool.
So watch the video and see how easy it is to ditch those harsh chemicals and switch to a friendly substitute!
Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound with two constituents: hydrogen and oxygen.
Also commonly known as H2O2, it is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor.
This odor results as hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen gas.
Hydrogen peroxide is usually a 3% to 5% solution of water and has various uses in everyday life.
It can function as a disinfectant, cleaning agent, bleaching agent, and more.
So here are the best Uses of Hydrogen Peroxide in the Household
1. To Clean Countertops
You can use a simple hydrogen peroxide solution to clean countertops since it is a natural disinfectant and antibacterial agent.
It also has a bleaching effect, so you can use it to remove stains from countertops.
This cleaning agent is an excellent alternative to chlorine bleach and is not toxic.
For countertops, use a solution of 25% hydrogen peroxide with water.
All you have to do is mix 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide with 1 quart of water.
Spray this solution on the counter top and let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse it off using a sponge.
Afterward, dry the counter.
You can use a cloth to wipe it down.
Additionally, if you want to disinfect the sink, spray some hydrogen peroxide on it and let it sit for 5 minutes before wiping it down with a sponge.
2. To Remove Stains from Clothing
Hydrogen peroxide is perfect for removing stains from clothing, especially stubborn ones like grease and grass.
It is a natural bleaching agent and works great on most clothing.

I add it to my flosser ... about 3 ozs to the water container and Waterpik away. Used daily this will keep gums clean and bacteria free. No more expensive dental visits to treat gum problems.

The best for taking out blood from clothing, sheets etc…Pouring onto stain when fresh is the best. Older ones may take more time. Not as effective on menstrual blood as it also contains tissue but give it a try. 😊

You can also sanitize dishes in a vinegar and water solution and you don't have to rinse them because the vinegar evaporates, even if it didn't vinegar isn't going to hurt you. Vinegar isn't going to contaminate the environment. You should also give warnings about things that should not be mixed with peroxide. Peroxide can be harsh on your skin.

When my fridge gets super empty, I pour some HP on the glass shelves and any spills on the door shelves. Within a minute, I wipe it down with paper towels and any dried on spills wipe right off and the fridge looks brand new again. ; )

1 part original DAWN dish liquid & 2 parts peroxide. GENTLY incorporate in a spray bottle & leave the top slightly undone, as this WILL foam. When needed, tighten top, saturate ANY stain, LET IT DRY completely, launder as usual. You're welcome!

I used it in my ear and so far it has loosened up any hard wax. I swish it in my mouth too from time to time to whiten teeth, and or cure canker sores in the mouth without the burn of listerine. I use it for my fingernails to remove germs in the cuticles. Use it for womens cycle stains in undies. Many uses… before all the fancy sanitizers and Clorox wipes most hospitals cleaned hospitals with peroxide.

I swear by it for laundry stains. ESP those of the biological variety. Great with pet bio messes also or adding to mop water. Also great for itchy skin or skin problem relief, and also teeth and gums.

I spray 3% directly on a carpet stain, then scrub well with a course plastic brush. Next I pour a few cups of water onto the area, scrub some more, and then use a wet/dry vacuum to suck all of the water out of the carpet. If nothing else works, sometimes the HOOH (hydrogen peroxide) works. Some carpets can't take bleach or peroxide, and will be ruined by it, so it's best to try a small area in the back of a closet first to see if the carpet can take it. Some stains take more than one try, and will get gradually better with multiple applications.
