How to Traction Your Shoulder by Yourself

Dr. Rowe shows how to traction your shoulder by yourself AT HOME. These traction exercises may give shoulder pain relief in as little as 30 SECONDS!

If you're unfamiliar with traction, it's a pulling motion that will aid in restoring range of motion, or movement, into the shoulder capsule.

It will help loosen the muscle, ligaments, and soft tissue around the shoulder joint, giving us quick pain relief and less CLICKING, POPPING, and CRACKING sounds in the shoulders.

The great part is these exercises can be done at work or at home -- and don't require any equipment.

So if you're suffering from achy shoulder joints, tight muscles, rounded shoulders, shoulder impingement, or just need a good daily stretch to keep your shoulders happy... this is a video you're not going to want to miss. WATCH NOW!

The doorknob traction is especially helpful; I press my elbow against people all day (massage therapist) so having a way to create space in that joint afterward is so great. All of your videos have been tremendously useful, thank you for sharing!

Unknowingly and because it felt so good, I was doing this in the squat position at the back of my bed holding onto the metal filigree in that vulcan position and leaning back. It felt amazing! Now I will make sure that I stabilize the shoulder with my other hand. Thank you so much for the video.

Helped me a lot with my left shoulder, I slept on my side too badly and woke up what felt like a dislocation on the shoulder and a tendon? When doing a hammer curl motion something felt like it was out of place. couldnt even lift the arm up without pain, this helped reduce it almost completely! thank you

Amazing!!! Ty so much. My shoulder popped a couple days ago and I started to feel numbness and electrical shocks in my fingers. Since doing these, it feels much better. Hopefully doing will get me back to normal.

Thank you! I had took a nasty fall back in September. Stepped on a board with nails sticking out (with only socks on my feet) went stumbling in the dark, landed on my knees and elbows while driving my chin through a piece of equipment. I've pretty much healed from it but my shoulders have been noticeably losing strength (haven't been able to lift objects up that are more than a few pounds). I figured this was from the fall as it would have jarred my elbows upwards into my shoulders. I did the pull traction only (and followed up with 'how to crack your shoulder') and I can lift my arm up above my head with very minimal pain! Going to give it another go in the morning after letting it rest a little. Thank you so much for this!
